Discover a new way of observing the city through drawing and watercolor in this hands-on Urban Sketching workshop led by acclaimed artist Tere Lojero.

Urban sketching is much more than drawing buildings and streets. It is a way of capturing moments, atmosphere, and everyday life before they disappear. Through direct observation and rapid sketching techniques, participants will learn how to record the essence of a place with spontaneity, personality, and artistic expression.

Throughout the workshop, participants will develop practical tools for visual storytelling, composition, and observation while working directly from real-life scenes in San Miguel de Allende.

About Tere Lojero

Tere Lojero is a Mexican architect and watercolor artist with an extensive national and international career. Since 1998, she has dedicated herself professionally to watercolor painting, participating in exhibitions, festivals, and educational projects throughout Mexico and abroad.

Her work is inspired by landscapes and everyday life, exploring the relationship between observation, memory, and emotion. She has presented more than thirty solo exhibitions and participated in numerous collective exhibitions worldwide.

She currently serves as President of the Mexican Society of Watercolorists (SMA) and has held leadership positions within the International Watercolor Society (IWS), promoting watercolor education and artistic exchange through workshops, festivals, and international programs.
