Summer Living School: Shaping Artists, Inspiring Futures

From August 4 to 22, El Sindicato opens its doors to an experience designed for children and young people to encounter art as a space for discovery, play, learning, and transformation. The Summer Living School is a program created to accompany new generations on a journey where imagination, sensitivity, and creative exploration become tools for growth, self-expression, and connection with the world around them.

Designed for participants between the ages of 6 and 16, this program offers an interdisciplinary artistic experience in which each day is carefully planned to awaken curiosity, encourage community, and open paths for personal and creative development. Over the course of three weeks, participants will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of disciplines and materials, guided by artists, teachers, and guest workshop leaders in a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment.

About the Summer Living School

More than a summer course, the Summer Living School is a space for artistic and human development where each participant can explore their voice, discover new forms of creation, and recognize the value of their own ideas. The program brings together interdisciplinary workshops in painting, sculpture, movement, theater, music, collective creation, textile art, and material experimentation, offering a broad, dynamic, and deeply enriching experience.

Each activity is designed to stimulate creativity, observation, listening, teamwork, and self-confidence, understanding art not only as an aesthetic practice but as a form of thinking, connection, and emotional expression. In this space, participants will be able to create, imagine, play, share, and discover that the artistic process can also be a way of building community, strengthening sensitivity, and opening new possibilities for the future.
