# Convergences The exhibition that marks the reopening of the Pergola Gallery of the Allende Institute, brings together twenty artists linked to this historic institution that has forged much of the artistic identity of San Miguel de Allende. The exhibition proposes an intergenerational dialogue between three members of the founding faculty of the fifties and seventeen students and alumni of the Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts of the University of Guanajuato, a program in force since 1997. Through different generations, disciplines and visual languages, the exhibition celebrates 75 years of artistic and academic continuity, highlighting the permanence of painting, ceramics and the exploration of new materials within contemporary practice. The works gathered reveal how artistic research is transformed and evolves over time. Convergences represents a small fraction of the genealogy of artists trained at one of the oldest art schools in Mexico, evidencing the strength of a creative community that continues to expand and dialogue between generations. ### 🗓️ Sunday to Thursday ### 🕥 10:00 am – 5:00 pm ### 📍Galería Pergola, Ancha de San Antonio 20, Centro, San Miguel de Allende.
