On Friday, August 1 at 8:30 pm, the Municipal Authorities present the inaugural event of the Festival of the Arts of San Miguel de Allende, FASMA, with “A Través de los Años,” ("Through the Years") a free concert that promises to light up the Jardín Principal in front of the Parish Church.
🎺 Il Tenore & Big Band Jazz de México: a joint performance
On this special evening, Il Tenore and Big Band Jazz de México will perform together from the very start, seamlessly blending voices and instruments on one stage. Their collaboration received acclaim during a joint performance on May 29 at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Mexico City.
- Il Tenore, a quartet led by tenor David Páez, combines Mexican tradition with operatic sophistication. Their rendition of “Abrázame Muy Fuerte” has been praised for its emotional homage to love.
- Big Band Jazz de México, founded in 1999, has over 24 years of experience and more than ten studio albums. They’ve performed in top venues and earned awards like the 2019 Luna del Auditorio for Jazz & Blues and the 2018 Premio Bravo.
